First stop of the morning.

Crossing the slightly sketchy Görlitzer Park.

Dropped into annelies.

Question again of how much can I eat (and over order).

I guess the eggs could count as the main course.

Scrambled eggs
on sourdough toast w/ fennel kimchi & smoked egg yolk

The crunch from the sourdough. Combined with the smokiness from the egg yolk. Pleasant surprise.

Watermelon Juice

If this is on the menu I tend to always order it. Watermelon was nearing the end of the season too.

Overnight oats
w/ yoghurt, strawberries, basil & amaranth granola

Given they’re oats this naturally felt heavy after the eggs. But the strawberries and basil (basil oil?) made it somewhat refreshing.

All in all worth the trek.
